Acrylic bear

A bear is the focal point of this dynamic and colourful composition. It is depicted in an abstract, expressive form, with white, black and bluish accents. Its shape is hinted at but not fully defined. Its fur is brought to life by bold and impulsive brushstrokes.

The colourful surroundings reinforce the impression of a wild, untamed world. The bold reds and magenta tones contrast excitingly with the cool, calm colours of the bear and create a vibrant, energetic atmosphere. The textures are rough, giving the picture a tangible, tactile quality. Although the bear appears partially dissolved, its attentive posture and gaze convey a presence and alertness. 

On the reverse of the art print is a saying that reflects the essence of this work: Our mind is like water. When it is calm, it becomes clear.
